Lisa is an award winning screenplay writer and part-time
director. Her past work experiences have included a stint as a
storyliner on Shortland Street, feature film script development
with writer/director Michael Bennett and producer Larry Parr and
then moving on to become the head writer and co-director of an

Aotearoa. She also wrote and directed a short film for which she
received funding from the Screen Innovation Production Fund. Lisa,
up until a few years ago worked most of her life in office

just 'happened' upon this industry without any previous film or
television education. Lisa opted to leave her burgeoning career
(for now) to concentrate on raising her family and eventually came
to Fresh Talent in a part-time capacity.
Lisa not only brings to
Fresh Talent years of administrative skills, but also has an
undeniable creative ability that enhances her role here at Fresh
Talent which benefits us tremendously.
